Quality Engineer

Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer; this is a permanent role located in Fishponds Bristol.

Your tasks:

• Facilitate 8D problem-solving activities for supplier/internal complaints from initial containment through to fix verification…
• Support goods inwards containment activities.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement activities.
• Support supplier audits and conduct internal audits.

Your profile:

• Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
• ASQ certification preferred.
• A full knowledge of AS9100 rev D
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Qualification in an Engineering discipline to HNC level or equivalent.
• Experience of working within manufacturing and a Quality Engineering function.
• Must have produced FAIR’s to AS9102 rev C
• Full knowledge of APQP and PPAP, statistical process control metrology or inspection methods/equipment and the 8D problem solving methodology.
